The IP1003X is a heavier version of our existing IP1003 built with extra weight in the core and an oversized birch handle (11/32” diameter) to provide for a brighter articulation and extra projection. The IP1008 is a more compact version of our IP1007. Built on durable rattan handles the smaller 1 1/4” diameter weighted core is constructed of the same synthetic material but the added weight creates a similar sound to the IP1007 but with a smaller diameter core.
